About
New Leaves' horticulturalist and bush regenerator, Ryan Howard, has been obsessed with growing plants from an early age.
Living on a large rural property, he had plenty of space to create his gardens, learn how to compost and grow his own plants. |
Ryan has taken this lifelong passion into his career as a “greenscape” designer, creating environmentally-friendly, water saving gardens. His specialties include bird attracting, aromatic gardens and designing natural water features such as billabongs and river beds complete with river stones.
While Ryan favours natives, he also works with clients to incorporate exotics, annuals and perennials to create multi-layered gardens.
With a strong interest in bush regeneration, Ryan will also consult on larger projects such as the restoration of degraded land and bush areas.
New Leaves has its own nursery at Mangrove Creek which is used exclusively for clients. This ensures that clients are getting high quality plants that are pest and disease free. |
